Oh yes Elections

Cant forget these, so one more blog.

2 years ago if someone told me "hey your going to be voting republican in 2008" I would have picked up a blunt object and smacked em over the head.

After reviewing my choices............................Id have to say "how did you know?"

McCain has my vote

Hilary you scare me

Obama your a big fluffy piece of cotton.

Wow I cant believe its been a year and a half since I wrote in this blog. Blogger changed things and I changed the email address and password and couldnt remember any of it and just took a shot today with some randomness. I wrote the poem below last week and felt it needed to join the rest.
Everything happens for a reason I guess, I havent had much to say lately till now.
Will there be more to come in the coming weeks? I dont know, my poetry comes from a dark place in my soul, someplace sad and full of longing. We shall see.

Love is filling this space right now, although the longing never leaves. Can they coexist? Who knows.

Time will tell.

My Knight's Night

Looking out through a veil of pain,
through the tears and the rain,
falling like empty promises
upon the bare skin of my dreams.

Ask not of which our history forbids,
Ask not of which our future disallows.

The chambers of which my soul resides
Crimson mist filling the corridors of my life'
Where your presence lingers
Waiting
Always waiting
Mine for yours, yours for mine

Falling to my knees,
The wetness of my life awash on the face of us
Begging to the pale grey moon
Begging to the golden flicker of our stars
Why

Has the universe taken the King and the Queen
In a match not to be won
An endless game the timer never running out
Never giving heed to the needs the longing the yearning
I ask again, Why

Love does not discriminate it answers
Love does has no mercy
Love is a ruthless warrior
Love is truth, honor, hope, and joy

A shimmering white dove
Its message crystal clear in the absence of sound
Truth will always be heard over it all
A whisper on the wind as it speaks

In the end all there is, is love.
