Skirting past the drapes
Like a thief in the night.
She has on socks today
She hates socks
She has on that sweater she has had for 20 years
She hates sweaters
She feels him behind her
Warm breath on her neck
Love on his breath
No need for socks or sweaters
She thanks love for the warmth
